Operations Specialist

Samantha has been with Arizona Fireplaces | AF Distributors since 2017 and over the past 5 years has demonstrated a level of responsibility that far exceeds expectations for any employee. An MVP for sure, Samantha is a quick study, someone who genuinely cares about her position as Operations Specialist. She oversees all processes and procedures, engages in problem-solving to varying degrees, promotes a company culture that is stellar amongst management and employees alike. Samantha is a mom to two very young children, she comes to work ready to tackle whatever is ahead from streamlining our warehouse and freight procedures to troubleshooting inventory challenges, flawlessly communicating with customers, and negotiating with manufacturers. We rely on her – as she is reliable, smart, and proven herself trustworthy. Samantha will return to college where she intends to earn a business degree, and if you ask her what the future holds, she’ll tell you that she’d love to be more involved in the business side of things. We don’t know what we’d do without her – she stands head and shoulders above most!

Receiving Specialist

Marisa Salazar is as hardworking as they come. She is super dedicated to her position as a Receiving Specialist here at Arizona Fireplaces . For the past 2 years since her arrival, Marisa is always willing to go above and beyond to help and take care of other departments. Her reliability and work ethic is nothing short of admirable, and her kindness to others is contagious. We are very proud to have Marisa on our team and continue to be amazed at how much she has learned and is now teaching others!

Casey

Casey Shapiro June Spotlight

Retail/Sales

Casey has been with Arizona Fireplaces since October of 2018, and worked for quite some time a few years before that. Casey stands out in numerous ways. One being her willingness to help anyone that walks into the building. She is constantly going out of her way to answer any questions that customers or coworkers may have. Casey served in the Marines for 4 years. She moved to Arizona 10 years ago and happily purchased a home here in 2018. In her free time, Casey enjoys going to concerts and watching sports (GO BILLS). Her favorite TV shows are currently Dexter, 48 Hours, and Graceland.

Casey’s coworkers uses words like pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. She is constantly trying to create an upbeat environment for a workplace that some would describe as hectic. Arizona Fireplaces is appreciative of all of Casey’s hard work throughout the years.
